Sustainability
Henco intends to be carbon neutral by 2050. This means we will take an active role in monitoring, managing and controlling our energy consumption, CO2 emissions and energy and CO2 intensity. Our ambition is to reduce our first and second scope CO2 emissions by as much as 70% by 2030.

REACH statement
REACH (Registration Evaluation and Authorization of Chemicals) is a European Union regulation adopted to better protect human health and the environment from the risks that chemicals can pose, while enhancing the competitiveness of the EU chemical industry. It also promotes alternative methods for hazard assessment of substances to reduce animal testing.
Henco & REACH: All Henco products are 100% safe for drinking water and heating applications. They have been thoroughly tested and certified by numerous organisations around the world. Nonetheless, the European REACH regulations require that end users are informed should a product contain substances of very high concern (SVHC) that appear on the REACH candidate list at a concentration above 0.1% by weight.

17 Sustainable Development Goals
Our sustainability goals also contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The SDGs are 17 goals established by the United Nations to address global challenges by 2030. They form a common sustainability agenda that has practical goals affecting society, the economy, the environment, human rights and world peace. The different themes have equal value and are mutually interconnected. Key principle: ‘Leave no one behind.’
